About Album Page Scanning
If your old photo albums use plastic film, adhesive pages or sticky backing, removing the photographs can risk tearing, creasing or permanently damaging them. Our photo album scanning service allows us to digitise the photographs while they remain safely in place, helping preserve both the images and the original album.
We scan album pages using professional A3 and A4 flatbed scanners at either 300 DPI or 600 DPI. Where suitable, individual photographs can be automatically cropped from each scanned page and supplied as separate JPEG files. For 1200 DPI scanning or albums requiring more detailed manual cropping, an additional handling surcharge may apply.

Photo Album Scanning Requirements
1. We can scan your Albums using either our A4 Epson or Kodak flatbed A3 scanners. The Photo Albums pages must be less than 400 x 300mm in size and in good condition.
4. The whole of page scan is provided back in addition to the individually cropped photos.
2. Album pages are not to have metal corners and be in good condition. Any old and fragile Albums may not be able to be scanned due to their fragility, otherwise old albums may incur additional fees.
5. Photos don’t need to be straight on the page however crop results will vary.
3. Pages will be scanned and cropped using the auto crop features. If scanned at 1200dpi then a manual cropping surcharge applies at $1.15 per page.
6. Minimum scanning charge of $80.00. Set-up Fee per Job of $19.95.
