About Album Page Scanning
If you have one of these old albums with plastic film and a sticky backing you are faced with tying to remove the photo forcibly if stuck to the page. This action could result in damaging a priceless memory.
The answer is to allow us to scan the page using our A3 and A4 Kodak flatbed scanners. The photos are auto cropped* and saved as individual JPEG files. In addition we can upload your photo files to Dropbox for free.
What Scanning Resolution Is Right For Me?
300DPI
Standard Resolution
300 dpi is perfect for slideshows, TV, mobile devices, social media and small prints.
600DPI
High Resolution
600 dpi is great for photo books, limited editing (zoom and crop) and will print to nearly A4 size from a 6×4 scan.
1200DPI
Ultra High Resolution
1200 dpi will provide advanced editing and print to print to nearly A3 size from a 6X4 scan.
Conditions for Album Page Scanning

Photo album pages must be less than 400 x 300 mm in size

Album pages are not to have metal corners

Pages will be scanned and cropped using the auto crop features

The whole of page scan is provided back in addition to the individually cropped photos

Photos don’t need to be straight on the page however crop results will vary
